GEM

GEM brings together massage therapy, gym programmes and training, dietetics, and education and wellness at the Blackhorse Centre on Dorp Street in Stellenbosch. Founder Gemma Haywood is a sport scientist with degrees from Stellenbosch University, and she works as a massage therapist and strength and conditioning coach. The team also includes a registered dietitian with a particular interest in sports nutrition, and a massage therapist and personal trainer who has worked at events such as the Cape Epic. Their focus is on recovery, strength and conditioning, and general health, with experience across athletes, older people, people with disabilities, children and corporate clients.
