Set on a 700-hectare estate in The Crags, about 20 minutes outside Plettenberg Bay off the N2, Kurland Estate combines country accommodation with an on-site spa. Guests can book the Homestead or the five-bedroom Villa, and the estate is known for its polo fields and equestrian events, as well as hosting weddings and celebrations.
The spa offers a full treatment menu along with private use of a sauna, steam room and plunge pool. It caters for couples' massages, groups of friends preparing for a special occasion, and children, who have their own kiddies' menu. Walks, birding and farm activities round out a stay on the property.
